Job description: the successful candidate will work under the general supervision of the Principal Investigator (PI) on the research project performing standard and complex experiments with advanced speech processing systems. Maintain accurate and timely record of test results; apply standard quality control procedures to assure accuracy of test results. Participates in meetings with the PI. Successful candidate will be expected to exhibit individual initiative, work independently; be technically proficient and accurate; effectively communicate in both written reports and presentations.
The successful candidate should have a recent degree in computer science or electrical engineering, preferably with background in Machine Learning, Speech Processing, or Natural Language Processing. Excellent programming skills are required (preferably in python, C++), as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Annual salary: 23.000 € Duration: Until December 31st

Job description: the successful candidate will work under the general supervision of the Principal Investigator (PI) on the research project; identifying potentially useful research from the academic community and applying it to the current advanced ASR system of the Research Group. He will be in charge to design, coordinate and supervise standard and complex experiments with advanced speech processing systems. Maintain accurate and timely record of test results; apply standard quality control procedures to assure accuracy of test results. Participates in meetings with the PI and coordinates the technical team. Successful candidate must show expertise on acoustic modeling through Deep Networks. In addition, it is required proficiency to exhibit individual initiative, work independently; with good technical skills and effectively communicate in both written reports and presentations.
The successful candidate should hold a PhD (or almost completed) with strong publication/project record related to computer science or electrical engineering, preferably with background in Machine Learning, Speech Processing or Natural Language Processing. Excellent programming skills are required (preferably in python, C++).
Annual salary: 30.000 € (Full-time) Duration: Until Mid 2015
